  • All Square D 8911 series starters are equipped with definite purpose contactor, melting alloy overload block, trip free reset and NEMA 1 metallic enclosure
  • Replacement coils for 8910 & 8911 series starters are obsolete. The contactor will need to be replaced in the event of a failed coil
  • For the most reliable motor protection, always select your starter based on the FLA current reading on the motor data plate
  • Refer to the applicable electric codes in your area for information on selecting the proper wire size and securing electrical connections
  • Install adequately sized power leads to protect against excessive voltage drop during start-up
  • Always confirm the supply voltage to ensure a safe installation of motor controls
  • Square D 8911 series replacement coils are obsolete
