This kit includes gasket set, piston ring set, oil seal, air filter element and wearing valve parts to recondition one Compressor.
This kit will come with old and new styles valve discs and springs for all intake and discharge valves.
In 1990 Champion redesigned the HP suction valves used on R10, R15 and R30 compressors. The change was to increase the diameter of the valve seat by 1/8”. The valve internals did not change. This change was made to prevent confusing the HP Suction and Discharge Valves.
In 2002 Champion again redesigned the internals of the HP suction valves changing from a coil spring to a curved washer type spring and a different valve disc.
In 1998 Champion redesigned the piston ring kits for all R-Series models changing from 4 piston rings per piston to 3 piston rings per piston. This kit contains piston rings for both designs.
